This new global map of Mars depicts the most representation of the ”Red Planet” surface. This map provides a framework for continued scientific investigation on Mars as the long-range target for human space exploration.
The new map bring together observation and scientific finding from four orbiting space crafts that have being acquiring data for more than 10years. The result is an updated understanding of the geologic history of the surface of the Mars.
